What is the cancellation policy for the Friday workshop? How do I check to see if I’m signed up? I signed up online, but after I registered for the conference. My credit charge has not been charged for the Friday conference.

Not at all! All sessions are open to all registered attendees – just show up! But remember, certain sessions, like the Cold Reads, have some ‘requirements’ for people who want to participate – so check them out on the website. Thanks!

Welcome, Beverly! You’re going to love it! As to your questions:
– yes, there is a registration desk but NO, you do not have to sign up for any of the sessions, just go to the ones you want.
– the Cold Read sessions are open to any attendees – the agents/editors at the session will be choosing from a pile of “first two pages” that people will bring with them, they will be collected at the door – so everyone can listen in. The “pitching sessions” with agents/editors are only for the agent and the pitcher.
– Diana Gabaldon’s books will be available at our on-site bookstore, and I’m sure you can catch her at some point to sign it, as she’ll be around the conference for most of the two days. You don’t need to sign up for the 9 pm “Sex Scene Readings” – anyone can go!

Hi Carlyle – I sent you a response but thought I’d post it here. We had a ‘gay characters’ session at the San Diego conference in 2011 that was very well attended! No one proposed that subject for 2013, but i’m sure it will come up again, as it’s very popular. No way did we get negative feedback about that topic (or any other topic). Thanks.
