The general conference fee is $325 for HNS members and $350 for non-members. The registration form shows all add-on costs (e.g., workshops, guest add-ons, etc.) as well as how to choose an agent/editor pitch meeting or sign up for Charlotte Cook’s workshops on Friday.

Have you considered a lower basic fee structure for senior folks over 70? (Not on add-on options)
The recent AWP-Boston had a fee of $60 for the three days for people over 65. It was a major savings. We could not reserve in advance and had to present driver’s licencse re age qualification at the reservation desk The AWP saved space for us even though it was a sellout in advance. Don’t think there were many of us It’s tough to afford those high fees when you have limited income in retirement. Regards, C. B. Huesing

Hi, I’m a member of the HNS N. California group and my debut novel, The Ghost Bride, will be published by HarperCollins August 2013. I’d love to attend the conference but can’t confirm yet because I’m waiting to hear back about scheduling/childcare. What is the cut off date for registering for the conference (the April 12 one looks like it’s for book signings)?

How close to the conference can I wait to inform the organization if I want to invite a guest to come for dinner Friday or Saturday evening? Is there a special way of amending my registration?
Also, I registered several days ago, but I don’t see my name on the attendees list.
